Ak Belek, grey, was born in 1931 by Ata Khodjanok jr., out of Khotcha Kor, daughter of 198 Posman. He is the only stallion, founder of its own line, whose origin in direct male line is derivated from English Thoroughbred sire, stallion Fortingbrass (by Fog-a-Ball, out of Smuglyanka).
In his time, Ak Belek belonged to the most succesful race horses in Ashkhabad Hippodrom, on Russian Exhibition in 1939 he got Certificate of I. degree.
The most important offspring of Ak Belek were two stallions, 300 Algir (out of 854 Mele Keik) and 338 Birgut (out of 459 Ene). 338 Birgut is the sire of mare Pobeda, who is mother of stallion Peren, founder of its own line.
Ak Belek line is not wide-spread with only 1,5 % amount among today´s lines.
