Stallion services auction under way to aid flood victims

More than 100 stallion services have been donated for an online auction to benefit horses and owners affected by Australia's devastating floods.

The auction began yesterday on Horsezone.com.au and will run until 8pm on Friday, Sydney time.
Among highlights are services to grand prix dressage stallions D'Dur from RevelwoodWarmblood Stud, Ryans Horses' Jive Magic and RegardezMoi and Remi Stud's Fishermans Friend.
Warmbloods are the most represented breed, with more than 25 sires featured, and, in addition to dressage stallions, the jumping fraternity are represented by Vicky Roycroft's Premier desHayettes and Paula Hamood's Glen Haven Agile plus GT Daniro, Sterntaler Rendezvous, Star of Clintvara, ESB Irish Edition, ESB Irish Descent and more.
Kirsty Ewens, of Bella Equus Stud, has donated services to both her stallions, Jaybee Leuwin and the buckskin Jaybee Apache.
Black Swan Friesians have donated a service to their stallion Hotse.
Australian stock horses are also making their mark, with stallions featuring great working bloodlines including Warrenbri Regal, Warregold Coolibah Spirit, Kerranna Aritjuda and Rodvale Fair Dinkum. They are joined by the well-performed Ilalong Talisman and Win D Fortitude, while cremello Goldmine Illusion demonstrates the versatility of Australian stock horses.
Also featured are services to sires representing andalusians, anglo arabs, appaloosas, arabians, cleveland bays, clydesdales, fresians, gypsy cobs, hanoverians, Irish sport horses, knabstruppers, paints, palominos, pintos, quarter horses, riding ponies, sportaloosas, thoroughbreds and Welsh ponies.
