A major exhibition exploring the relationship between humans and horses has opened at Chicago's Field Museum.

The exhibition, entitled The Horse, will run until August 14.
Visitors will be able to learn about how humans shaped horses to suit our needs and how the animals helped shape our history.
The exhibition explores the horse's evolution, the first contact with man, domestication, their role in human history, and their future.
